RTPS Assam, also known as the Right to Public Services Assam, is an initiative introduced by the Government of Assam to streamline and simplify the delivery of public services. The aim of RTPS Asssam is to ensure that citizens can access government services in a time-bound and transparent manner, without any unnecessary delays or hassles. The RTPS portal was launched in 2013 and currently offers over 100 services across 26 departments. 

The online platform of RTPS Assam provides a convenient way for individuals to apply for various services, track their applications, and receive the requested documents or certificates.

How to Access RTPS Assam Services.

There are two ways to access RTPS Assam services:

1.Online: You can apply for RTPS services online through the RTPS portal. The portal can be accessed at  https://sewasetu.assam.gov.in/site

2.Through Public Facilitation Centres (PFCs): You can also apply for RTPS services through Public Facilitation Centres (PFCs). PFCs are located across Assam and provide citizens with assistance in applying for RTPS services.

Here are the steps on how to access RTPS Assam services online:

  1. Go to the RTPS Assam portal at  https://sewasetu.assam.gov.in/site
  2. Click on the “Login” button.
  3. If you are a new user, click on the “Register” button.
  4. Fill in the registration form and click on the “Submit” button.
  5. You will receive an email with a verification code.
  6. Enter the verification code and click on the “Verify” button.
  7. You will be logged in to the portal.
  8. Click on the “Apply for services” button.
  9. Select the service you want to apply for.
  10. Follow the instructions on the portal to complete the application process.

Here are the steps on how to access RTPS Assam services through a PFC:

  1. Visit a PFC.
  2. Provide the required documents to the PFC staff.
  3. The PFC staff will assist you in applying for the service.

What are the eligibility criteria for using Assam RTPS ?

To use RTPS Assam, you must meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • You must be a citizen of India.
  • You must have a valid Aadhaar card.
  • You must have a valid email address.
  • You must have a valid mobile number.

If you meet these criteria, you can use RTPS Assam to apply for a variety of government services online.
